We use the fantastic OpenStreetMap data for our maps. Everyone can contribute to OpenStreetMap and add missing details making it the most uptodate and detailed map in many parts of the world. Our data is updated on Monday every week, so your contributions will be visible in nogago within two weeks at most. Update your map to get the latest version.

For topography (contours) we have processed the NASA SRTM data set in the best resolution available (depending on the region) and incorporated manual corrections provided by Jonathan De Ferranti. Contours are not updated unless there is a major event changing the geography of a region.

I cannot see any contour lines ?
Contour lines are only rendered when choosing the Hiking or Biking map appearance style. You can change the style in the settings of the app. You will need to download contour lines in the first place to display them.

How are the regions of nogago cut ?
We deliver regional maps that are optimized to be around 50 MBs in size for each area covered. Depending on the volume of map data you will either obtain a larger or a smaller area. You download by searching for a city and will receive one or more maps that cover the city and its surroundings. If you search for another city that is already covered by the maps that you have downloaded before, you will receive a message that the download is not necessary.
